This week we saw a delightfully fun mini K-drama, the biggest Asian music awards show of the year, and a moving film about one of Korea's most sensitive topics. Next week we have a gripping and tragic thriller based on a true story coming our way. Let's take a look!

1.  Love Detective Sherlock K (Web drama) 

Starring  Park Min WooNam Bo Ra, Apink's Bomi, and B1A4’s Jin Young

When free-spirited heir Do Min Woo ( Park Min Woo) falls in love with the lively and spunky celebrity Yuma (Bomi), he needs help proving that the diva's love is real. He hires a woman disguised as a man, the love detective Sherlock K (Nam Bo Ra), and her loyal assistant (B1A4’s Jin Young) to help him solve the case. 



2. Mnet Asian Music Awards 2015

Starring Zion.T and GOT 7

MAMA – or Mnet Asian Music Awards – started off as a celebration of Korean music videos, and has evolved into becoming Asia's representative music festival. Held in various cities in Asia, this year's awards will be held in Hong Kong. 3. As One (Movie) (December 19)

Starring  Ha Ji Won and Bae Doo Na

As One is a 2012 South Korean sports drama film starring Ha Ji Won and Bae Doona. It is a cinematic retelling of the first ever post-war Unified Korea sports team which won the gold at the 1991 World Table Tennis Championships in Chiba, Japan Director Moon Hyun-sung used the foundation of true events to tell the story of a team that united a divided nation for the first time in its painful history. 



1. Silenced (Movie)

Starring Gong Yoo and Jung Yoo Mi

Shell shocked by his wife’s suicide, Kang In Ho (Gong Yoo) searches for a fresh start as a teacher at a school for deaf children, who are strangely distant and despondent. After preventing a student’s suicide, In Ho discovers that teachers are sexually abusing their students—uncovering the darker truth of how far the entire administration will go to cover up their lurid crimes.
