New and Coming Soon to DramaFever February 16 to February 22
Last week we were treated to a new lighthearted romantic comedy that is from the point of view of the awkward male lead for once! Next week we will see a dark romantic medical drama featuring vampires parading as doctors, and a touching Chinese film about the bond between father and son. Let's take a look!
1. Fool's Love (also called Hogu's Love)
It's not easy being Ho Goo (Choi Woo Sik), a low-key guy who can neither score a date nor score high enough on his civil service exams, which he's failed 7 years running. But when he has a chance reunion with national swimming champion Do Hee (UEE), the most popular girl of his high school, his luck begins to change — perhaps for the worse. After staying out all night with Do Hee, Ho Goo experiences a rude awakening when he realizes that not only has Do Hee left him, she's also pregnant!
Park Ji Sang (Ahn Jae Hyun) is no mere surgeon at the nation's top oncological center: in fact, he's a vampire. Under the watchful eye of hospital director Lee Jae Yook (Ji Jin Hee), Ji Sang manages to stave off his bloodlust, especially when his patients are at their most vulnerable. But when the beautiful surgeon Yoo Ri Ta (Gu Hye Sun) joins the team, Ji Sang discovers a slow-burning desire that could put his whole world at stake. Could there be more than hunger coarsing through his veins — perhaps, love?
2. Ocean Heaven
Following his wife’s untimely death 14 years ago, aquarian worker Wang Xincheng (Jet Li) has cared for his autistic 21-year-old son Dafu (Wen Zhang). But when Xincheng is diagnosed with terminal cancer, a whole new challenge presents itself: ensuring Dafu can care for himself long after his father is gone. In their limited time together, Xincheng struggles to teach his son basic tasks, and as Dafu’s skills blossom, so too does an everlasting bond between father and son.
