New and Coming Soon to DramaFever May 16 to May 22
This week we saw a highly-anticipated fantasy sageuk, a classic Chinese historical drama, and a reality show featuring some of K-pop's most poplar groups. Next week we have an endearing Korean drama about love and friendship in the prime of life, a lighthearted romantic comedy perfect for springtime, a dramatic supernatural web series, and a fun K-pop fashion show. Unable to conceive, Queen Sim consults a witch doctor, who blesses her with not one, but two children. Through a car accident, Zhang Xiao travels back in time into a body of one of her previous incarnations, a 16-year-old aristocratic Manchu girl, Maertai Ruoxi, living in the Qing Dynasty. Although she knows she should not get involved in palace intrigues over the succession to the throne, she inadvertently becomes a pawn in the struggle because she can not help but love someone, and others come to love her. This hit drama was based on the novel Bu Bu Jing Xin by Tong Hua (Source). Watch it before the premiere of the Korean remake Scarlet Heart: Ryeo!

Cheongdamdong 111 is a reality show about the daily life and inner workings of FNC Entertainment, a record label and talent agency that includes K-pop groups CNBlue, FTIsland, and AOA.
1. Dear My Friends (May 16)
Featuring a veteran ensemble cast — including Na Mun Hee, Kim Hye Ja, Go Du Shim, Kim Young Ok, Joo Hyun, and Park Won Sook — a group of vivacious ajummas befriends a group of considerably younger people. At the eve of their lives, but ever young at heart, this group shares their hard-earned wisdom and timeless antics with adults in the prime of their lives.
2. Beautiful Gong Shim (May 17)
Though Gong Shim (Kwon Min Ah) has a heart of gold, she's resigned to living under the shadow of her sister Gong Mi (Seo Hyo Rim), who inherited both beauty and brains. Meanwhile, two half-brothers—Ahn Dan Tae (Nam Goong Min), a class-warrior, and Suk Joon Soo (Oh Joo Wan), a chaebol heir—couldn't have any less in common besides their mutual interests in Gong Shim.
3. Bong Soon- A Cyborg in Love (May 17)
Beautiful and intelligent, Bong Soon (Yoon So Hee) is nearly perfect, except she's a cyborg!
