New stills from Tomorrow's Cantabile show the music professors at work
Nam Goong Yeon will play Ahn Keon Sung, the piano professor. Although his students have inferior abilities, he still respects their opinions. Ahn Keon Sung is the professor who discovers Yoo Jin ( Joo Won)'s talent as a conductor for the first time. He also plays a key role in the development of the relationship between Yoo Jin and Nae Il (Shim Eun Kyung). Nam Goong Young is a musician and creative director.
Lee Byung Joon takes on the role of Doe Kang Jae. An elite professor and a bit of a maverick, he becomes impatient when things don't go his way. He and Yoo Jin come into conflict quite a few times, but he isn't a true villain. You may recognize this veteran actor from Bridal Mask or Dream High, among other shows.
Watch Lee Dong Wook as a coldhearted man with a supernatural secret in Blade Man
Ahn Kil Kang's character is Yoo Won Sang, the father of Yoo Il Rak (Go Kyung Pyo). His character is comedic. He runs a restaurant that is popular with the music school students. Contrary to his rough appearance, he is a warmhearted person who is dedicated to his violinist son. Ahn Kil Kang is aanother veteran actor who you might recognize from Dream High. How fitting, considering that this is a show about music!
We've already seen stills for Baek Yoon Shik's character of Franz Von Stresemann. He is the one of greatest maestros in the world, but he has a very eccentric personality off of the stage.
Finally, Ye Ji Won takes on a role of Song Mi Na, who is the principal of Han Eum music academy. She is passionate about music and has an elegant and graceful appearance. She asks Stresemann to come to her academy. Ye Ji Won previously starred in the movie After the Banquet and the series More Charming by the Day.
It sounds like this is going to be a great ensemble drama with a really well-rounded cast. Tomorrow's Cantabile premieres exclusively on DramaFever on October 13. Sign up HERE for new episode alerts. If you haven't seen the latest trailer, check it out below:
