North Korean TV admits Kim Jong Un is having health problems
According to a recent documentary by North Korean state-run media, dictator Kim Jong Un is experiencing "discomfort." The last time that the leader was filmed in public was September 3, sparking rumors that he was not in good physical shape.
In July, Kim Jong Un was seen limping, and many think that his weakened condition has to do with on ongoing battle with gout. The 31-year-old dictator has also been steadily gaining weight since the death of his father in 2011.
While the documentary didn't unveil any specific details on the leader's state, they did mention that he was struggling. "The wealth and prosperity of our socialism is thanks to the painstaking efforts of our marshal, who keeps lighting the path for the people, like the flicker of a flame, despite suffering discomfort," said a voice in the hour-long broadcast.
