I can't think of a better way to indulge in traditional Japanese food than by eating it Pokémon style. Fortunately, there is a new item called Pokémon Osechi that lets you do just that.

New Year's holiday in Japan usually means that the masses eat a meal called osechi ryouri, and people typically enjoy the food in containers that look like bento boxes. But the new Pokémon-themed meal comes in a large Pokéball, and, as you might have guessed, not all the items in the Pokémon Osechi are of the traditional variety.

The inventive Pokéball contains delicious nontraditional treats like mini hamburgers and more classic items like dried sardines. The interesting food assortment is a really fun way to enjoy a historic celebration and also a clever way to get young people excited about the holidays.
