Panda released into the wild led by humans in panda suits
An adorable panda named Xue Xue was recently released by humans dressed in panda suits into a nature reserve in Sichuan, China. The cute panda is two years old and spent the first couple years of her life at the China Conservation and Research Center for Giant Pandas.
The researchers spent two years training Xue Xue for the wild, and the humans dressed in panda suits to make sure that her transition into nature would go smoothly. Since 2006, China has been setting a few pandas who were raised captive free.
As the photos show, a small group of researches and media were in attendance to document the event as only a couple of these pandas have been released in the last eight years. We sincerely hope Xue Xue's transition into nature is truly great!
