Park Hae Jin considers teaming up with Descendants of the Sun writer for Man to Man
Park Hae Jin may be back on the small screen before you know it! Riding his immense popularity from Cheese in the Trap, the actor is considering an offer for upcoming JTBC drama Man to Man. The series will be written by Kim Won Seok, second writer on the immensely popular Descendants of the Sun.
There aren't a ton of details on the plot yet, but Man to Man is about a famous celebrity who hires a bodyguard with a background in special investigations (Park Hae Jin, if he accepts). Early plot descriptions and the title sound like this is a bromance with a male celebrity, not a loveline with a female celebrity, though the role of the star has yet to be cast.
Screenwriter Kim Won Seok has been gaining a lot of attention since teaming up with famed writer Kim Eun Sook for Descendants of the Sun. He reportedly met with Park Hae Jin privately to discuss this role, though Park Hae Jin's representatives say that the actor is still "positively considering" because the script isn't complete yet.
What do you think of this writer-actor pairing? Do you hope Park Hae Jin accepts this role? Who would you cast opposite him in a bromance? Share your thoughts in the comments!
