Casting for the long anticipated webtoon-based dram Cheese in the Trap is finally complete. Starring Park Hae Jin, the drama will begin filming in September. Find out who took over the leading female role that Miss A's Suzy gave up and which young rising actors were also cast recently.

Fans are pleased to learn that the new drama's top 3 actors, Park Hae Jin, Kim Go Eun, Seo Kang Joon, and the producer Lee Yoon Jeong had their first meeting on September 1. The drama has made news with its search for actors, and it looks like it is finally on its way to start shooting.

The original Cheese in the Trap webtoon series, created by Soon Ki, tells the story of love and conflicts between university student Hong Seo and her boyfriend Yoo Jung, who is known as Mr. Perfect.

1. Yoo Jung (Park Hae Jin)

When Park Hae Jin was cast in May this year, fans of the popular webtoon series rejoiced because for many years fans have made their own dream cast and considered Park as the perfect match to play Yoo Jung.

2. Hong Seol (Kim Go Eun)

When it was announced that Miss A's Suzy was offered the leading female role, fans weren't as happy about the match, and many even openly voiced their dissent. After Suzy declined the role, the production team turned to Kim Go Eun, who also declined.

Fortunately Kim Go Eun later changed her mind, and it was thanks to her love for the popular drama Coffee Prince, which starred Yoon Eun Hye and Gong Yoo. She explained, "Director Lee Yoon Jung‘s work Coffee Prince is a work that I was sucked into and I watched over and over. I’ve always wanted to work with her one day and I’m very excited to be able to work with her. I have high expectations.”

3. Baek In Ho (Seo Kang Joon)

Seo Kang Joon (Hwajung) plays Baek In Ho, the romantic rival to Yoo Jung for Hong Seol's heart. Together the 3 characters anchor the love triangle for Cheese in the Trap. Once regarded as a piano prodigy. Baek In Ho is a troubled young male with a tough and rebellious attitude who has a strong and unique look.

4. Baek In Ha (Lee Sung Kyung)

Baek In Ho's twin sister, Baek In Ha, will be played by Lee Sung Kyung, who played Lee Kwang Soo's girlfriend in It's Okay, That's Love. Bae In Ha is described as a beautiful but temperamental character who vies for the attention of Yoo Jung, the perfect man in the webtoon story. That sounds like a double triangle?

5. Kwon Eun Taek (Nam Joo Hyuk)

Nam Joo Hyuk is a new rising star who just completed the very popular School 2015. His character, Kwon Eun Taek, is a young university student who is described as a bit of an oddball, but he has a surprisingly dependable and manly side.

Shooting is planned to start on September 22 with the drama to premiere in December exclusively on DramaFever! Sign up for new episode alerts HERE.

I know I can't wait. This drama sounds really interesting, and Park Hae Jin has been one of my favorite ever since My Love From Another Star and Doctor Stranger.
