On Nov. 15, Korea saw the country’s strongest earthquake in modern history when a 5.4-magnitude earthquake hit Pohang. Park Shin Hye and her fans volunteered their time to help the earthquake victims, making kimchi and gathering gifts and donations. Let’s check out how their day went in photos!

The Doctor Crush actress and her fans made kimchi to help out the Pohang residents hit by the earthquake. This Sunday at a community center in Gangdong-gu, Seoul, the actress, her fan club members, her agency S.A.L.T. Entertainment staff members, and international relief agency Food for the Hungry teamed up and made kimchi. 

Everyone learned how to make kimchi before giving it a go.

First they cut up the salted cabbage. Then they stuff it with a seasoned paste of red pepper, garlic, ginger, sugar, fish sauce, and more.

It looks like the kimchi-making day was a success!

For Sunday, Park Shin Hye had prepared signed postcards. Swarovski, Millet, and Amorepacific’s Ryeo, where she’s the face of the brand,sent their contributions. On Sunday, Park Shin Hye and fans gathered boxes of kimchi, gifts, and donations for the Pohang residents. 

At the end of the day, Park Shin Hye thanked the fans for their good hearts and sent them her farewell.
