These days Pikachu events seem to be popping up daily in Japan. And don't get me wrong--I think we're all better off for it. The most recent event took place last Friday in Yokohama, and it involved a bunch of adorable Pikachus storming the streets in an all-out parade.

It's clear from the photos that the giant yellow Pokémon characters have truly taken over. The good news is that this will not be the only parade, as according to schedule, the Pikachu parade will happen three times a day, every day until August 17.

So don't worry if you missed one, because they will be happening on the regular at the Landmark Plaza in Yokohama. The event is called "Greet Pikachu," and we hope you get to meet one!
