Plastic surgery clinic in South Korea builds a tower of patient's jawbones
Fair warning, this will probably be one of the grossest things you've ever seen. A plastic surgery clinic in South Korea has collected patients' jawbones over the years and built a tower of them as some sort of weird art display. The tower contains discarded jawbones of roughly 1,000 patients.
It was displayed in the clinic, and until recently the picture was proudly featured on the clinic's website. The clinic is located in the Gangnam district of Seoul, and after the photo of the bone tower spread across the Internet, the government ordered them to take it down. Authorities also launched a proper investigation to find out more about the clinic's practices.
Below are some before and after shots of a patient's jawbone removal surgery, except something tells us that they didn't know a piece of them would be in a tower someday.
