Pollution so bad in China that residents line up for imported bags of clean air
China's problems with pollution have been extensively covered and documented. The country has proposed everything from smog-killing drones to even offering haze insurance for tourists visiting the area. But in the very polluted city of Zhengzhou, a group of people have decided to treat their smog problem in a new and innovative way by offering everyone clean bags of air.
The air comes from Laojunshan Mountain National Park and residents of the city lined up to put on oxygen masks and enjoy the 20 bags of clean air. The move was seen as somewhat of a publicity stunt to attract attention to the city's air quality problem, but if China doesn't start taking serious measures to cut down on their pollution, the clean oxygen bags just might be the future.
