Rain is coming down in sheets in Singles Korea Magazine's January 2016 issue
As many of you know, Singles Korea 싱글즈's motto is "get excited." Well, I can tell you a lot of folks did just that when the popular fashion magazine gave notice last week that mega-star Rain would be gracing its first cover of the new year.
With the January 2016 issue's early release date yesterday, Rain's smoldering grown-man charms burst onto the scene like a runaway train, and the fashion world got yet another taste of his tall, elegant frame, the perfect clothes hanger. And a sizzling magazine cover to boot.
Denim, white tees, stockinette stitch and soft, chunky yarn never looked so good, don't you agree? The "I wanna be ya boyfriend" look suits him well.
In his feature article interview, the South Korean singer, dancer, actor, and ambassador (a.k.a. Ji Hoon Jung) was asked to choose the one thing in life that he couldn't give up. He humbly replied, "If it was for my family, I could give up everything I have right now and even start from the very bottom again, working for someone. I'm the happiest when I have my people. In the end, that is me."
His fans are happiest when they have pics like these to gawk at, right? :)
In other news, media outlets are reporting that agency R.A.I.N. Company has announced its intent to go into serious battle against slander and malicious rumors about the star, and that the first script reading for Rain's body-swap comeback drama Hello, My Precious Person took place yesterday. Although tentatively slated for February 2016 on SBS with Oh Yeon Seo, Lee Min Jung, Yoon Park, and Kim In Kwon, the working title still seems to be in question. Is it this: 안녕 내 소중한 사람 (Hello, My Loved Ones, or Hello, My Precious)? Or this: 돌아와요 아저씨 (Come Back, Uncle, or Please Come Back, Mister)? And don't forget the non-literal title, Goodbye, My Beloved.
Only time will tell what we end up with, I reckon. Happy Holidays, everyone!
