Rain looked heavenly in white on the Miss Vietnam 2016 Red Carpet
Ever since the Miss Vietnam organization announced in mid-June that they'd invited entertainer Rain to be special guest at the competition's finale this year, one of the questions on people's minds was, What will he wear? That question was answered this past Sunday evening on the Miss Vietnam 2016 Red Carpet at Phu Tho Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City.
Rain's white-on-white-on-white ensemble contrasted sharply against its surroundings and set him out in the crowd (not that he needs any help in that department, right?). The formality of a blazer with distressed jeans and a pair of s-w-e-e-t Nikes made for an elegant look without stuffiness as he waved to the crowd. Angelic!
Another question floating around was, What will he sing? The answer was this: His dance hits, "It's Raining", "LA Song", and "30 Sexy." The singer also serenaded the contestants with "My Girl" as they showcased their gorgeous evening wear.
The beauties were very poised and lovely, but beneath that composure you know there had to be a little swooning going on, haha. :)
The biggest question of the night, of course, was, Who's going to win? That honor went to 20-year-old Hanoi-born beauty Do My Linh, an undergraduate at Foreign Trade University. Linh's personal motto is, "Sincerity is the key to open all hearts."
Congratulations to her for winning the crown after that extensive, four-hour finale!
In other news, Rain's management has said that he will continue filming the upcoming Chinese TV drama Endless August through the end of September, and then will continue his "The Squall" World Tour with a stop in Shantou, China on October 3. So far, the concert tour has made stops in 14 cities in four countries, with more countries planned but still in the negotiations stage.
