Rapper Iron, a Show Me The Money 3 contestant, was booked without detention on March 14 for allegedly assaulting a girlfriend. According to Seoul’s district 5 prosecutor’s office, Iron angrily punched the girlfriend in the face while having sex last September. Two weeks after, when she asked to break up, he strangled and punched her. He then injured his right thigh with a knife from a kitchen and threatened her, saying, “If you call the police, I’ll say you stabbed me.”

On the same day Iron’s case was handed over for trial, Iron argued against the allegations, saying the injuries weren’t intended to hurt the girlfriend but to accommodate her masochistic personality.

“Her biggest problem was that she had a masochistic sexual personality,” Iron said in an interview with Sports Chosun. “I was so surprised at first. She always demanded violence from me. She said it was the only way she could satisfy.” Iron added he let her go because he got too scared of her masochistic personality and found out she had a boyfriend. He continued, “I have never beaten or threatened any woman. I have a lot of shortcomings, but I have never assaulted or damaged anyone for my wants.”

Iron’s case will be on trial soon. What do you think of the allegations and Iron’s arguments?
