Ryu Joon Yul's got a competitor! Actor Lee Soo Hyuk confirmed to star in Lucky Romance as the second lead, creating a triangle relationship. Lee Soo Hyuk and Ryu Joon Yeol will fight to have their noona romance come true with Hwang Jung Eum.

Soon after the She Was Pretty actress and Ryu Joon Yul (one of the Answer Me 1988 flower boys) confirmed to star in the webtoon-turned-drama Lucky Romance, the Runway Cop actor Lee Soo Hyuk joined the cast. Lee Soo Hyuk will take the role as the second lead, who falls hopelessly in love with Hwang Jung Eum’s character, Shim Bo Nui.

Sim Bo Nui, who is an incredibly superstitious thirtysomething woman, spends all of her time and money hoping to improve her fortune. When a fortune teller informs her that she must sleep with a male virgin born in 1986 or die, she's determined to find a man who fits the bill. Bo Nui accidentally finds out that her pennypinching landlord Je Soo Ho (Ryu Joon Yul) is a virgin born in 1986, and decides to seduce her landlord to change fate.

Add Choi Gun Wook (Lee Soo Hyuk) into the picture. The hot Korean Canadian tennis player returns to his motherland to find his first love, Shim Bo Nui.

Lucky Romance will air on MBC in May after Goodbye Mr. Black ends. The drama will go head-to-head in ratings against Entertainer starring Ji Sung and Hyeri.
