If you were a huge fan of School 2013, this news was tailor-made for you! The director of the School series, Park Sang Hoon, announced to the media today that School 2015 is in the works. It hasn't been officially confirmed, but the new production is in the planning stages.

The original teen series, which launched the careers of A-list actors like Jo In SungJang HyukHa Ji Won, Lee Dong Wook, and Choi Kang Hee from 1999 to 2002, succeeded in shooting Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin into super-stardom when it relaunched after an 11-year hiatus.

Kim Woo Bin won two awards for his portrayal as bad boy Park Heung Soo in the hit series. He was even honored with a Best New Actor award at the 6th Korea Drama Awards and the 2nd APAN Star Awards.

Director Park's impressive resume includes the popular classic show Secret, as well as Drama Specials Junior High Student Miss A and When I Was Prettiest.

The School series focuses on the real issues facing teens in high school. Bullying, friendships, grades, social pressures, and their real relationships with their teachers take center stage.

Despite the rough language, I loved School 2013!  It was unpredictable and rough around the edges. I felt Kim stole the show with his fashionably late entrance. The apparent bromance between Lee and Kim made the pair quickly become a fan favorite, but I just saw two best friends who truly cared for one another. I witnessed old-school friendship at its finest. I'm beyond excited to greet the next crew.

Are you highly anticipating School 2015 as much as I am?
