School recreates Studio Ghibli food for their lunches
Wow, I really wish my school growing up was this cool. For one full week, students at a junior high school in Mishima, Japan got to eat like Studio Ghibli characters. The school posted a flier that said from October 27-31, the school will serve "Ghibli School Lunches."
The flier for the lunches has made its way around Twitter, getting retweeted over 14,000 times. As you can see, some of these lunches do come very close to the Ghibli classics, and some miss the mark.
But either way, I'm sure that because of this lunch program, this week was everyone's favorite time to be at school. It's also a really fun way to lead up into Halloween festivities and eat like your favorite Ghibli stars.
