Photos of Park Shi Hoo titled "Park Shi Hoo wearing a toupee" have recently been posted and have spawned explosive reactions from netizens, and variations on the search terms became the #1, #2 and #7 most-searched for terms in the celebrity category.
In the photos, Park Shi Hoo has lowered his head to bow before gathered reporters after the cross examination in Seoul, Eunpyeong-Gu, Seo-bu Police Station, making his statement that he had fully cooperated with the police investigation and truth would eventually be uncovered in his recent indictment.
But unintentionally his hair also attracted attention.
His forehead appeared afloat and different color from the rest of his hair as if he was wearing a hairpiece.
Netizens reacted with such comments as, "his hairdo looks strange," "No way…," "it surely is a toupee." One commenter noted, "he must be suffering from partial hair loss (Alopecia areata) since he must have gotten a lot of stress recently." Another joked, "his hair style is the same as Lee Dukhwa's (a famous Korean actor known for wearing a hairpiece)."
However, another photo taken at the same time shows no such obvious delineation:

As the pic went viral, netizens unearthed a picture of Park Shi Hoo wearing a long hairpiece, which was taken for the KBS 2TV drama, 'The Princess' Man.' He tweeted this picture at the time. He had to wear a long hairpiece although it was a hot summer day.
Whether or not the photo depicts a hairpiece, hair extensions are not uncommon among fashionable men in Korea looking to change hairstyles easily.
