The upcoming romantic comedy starring Shin Min Ah (Arang and the Magistrate) and So Ji Sub (Master's Sun) has officially changed it's title from Oh My God to Oh My Venus.

About the title change, KBS 2TV Producers stated, “If the goddess of beauty, Venus, were to live in today’s society, she would fall short of today’s standards. We wondered what it would be like to have the main female character feel Venus’s jealousy, so we changed the the title to Oh My Venus. The pair will heal each other’s hurts while dieting/exercising. The drama will include healing and health. We will work hard to create a drama that makes viewers happy.”

In Oh My Venus, So Ji Sub plays Kim Young Ho, a famous personal trainer to wealthy celebrities. Shin Min Ah plays an overworked lawyer who loses her former beauty and good figure while spending long hours trying to support her family.  When she becomes the client of Kim Young Ho, the two must overcome past heartache and emotional scars as they help each other transform into their best selves, ultimately falling in love with what's on the inside and not just on the outside.

Through the whole drama description, mostly I just understood that we will likely be seeing lots of So Ji Sub's chocolate abs and biceps in this role! Plus I am admittedly curious to see how they will make Shin Min Ah supposedly overweight and unattractive. Hopefully there is also a deeper meaning about emotional health and acceptance in there as well!

Oh My Venus will be premiering exclusively on DramaFever on November 16 after the conclusion of Cheer Up! Sign up for new episode alerts HERE!
