Social media rescues clerk from 400 chocolate cakes
Social media can be powerful in many ways, and in this case, it was used to bring help just in time. A clerk at a Taiwanese convenience market accidentally ordered 400 chocolate cakes when he should have ordered 4. When the cakes arrived, they overcrowded the store. What happened next is really awesome.
The clerk's friend posted a message asking people to help buy the cakes. These cakes were described as "European style chocolate cakes."
The message said 2 extra zeros led to the unintended extra order.
Many people immediately responded to the SOS and said they would help. There were some fun replies, such as "On my way to pay tribute to the chocolate shrine."
The message spread, and so many people went to that store that the last cake was sold by 3 pm that afternoon.
Would you have bought some chocolate cakes?
