Song Ji Hyo to star in Chinese film 708090 with Kenji Wu
The film's name, 708090, represents the three generations born in the 1970s, 80s, and 90s, and the story will revolve around the intersecting lives and loves of three couples who represent the three different generations. Song Ji Hyo and Kenji Wu will play a couple representing the 80s generation. Wu is an artist who had experienced turmoil in his family life. Song is an office worker. The two will meet and fall in love as they struggle to start a business together.
At the press conference that took place on September 14, Kenji Wu gave Song Ji Hyo a pair of running shoes, not only as a symbol of the 80s generation, but also as a meaningful gift to Song. He said, "I have watched Running Man, and I want to give her this pair of shoes that has a strong characteristic in Chinese colors and youthful sense, in wishing her to keep on running."
