Friendships are a beautiful thing.  Having someone to share life's joys, worries, and tears with is truly something to be cherished and actors Song Joong Ki and Park Bo Gum demonstrated this during the 2016 KBS Drama Awards. However, what friendship means to each individual can be a very subjective thing...especially when it comes to how you express yourself to your friends.  This is true even in the star bromance between Song and Park. Just why did Song Joong Ki tear up during Park Bo Gum's acceptance speech, and what meaning did those tears hold? Find out what Song Joong Ki had to say about the touching moment from the KBS Drama Awards.

Song Joong Ki made a surprise appearance during a Taiwanese fan event held as part of Park Bo-gum's Pan-Asia Tour. During the event Park Bo Gum and Song Joong Ki's famed bromance was on full display as they entertained fans by drawing on each others’ faces and playing a game which entailed guessing what the other was thinking.

It was also during this event that Song personally shared why he had cried during the 2016 KBS Drama Awards when Park Bo Gum made his acceptance speech for his role as Prince Lee Young in 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds'. Song Joong Ki explained that:

I remembered that Bo-gum worried a lot about his first leading role. I was nervous four years ago when I was first awarded a Best Excellence Award, so I thought Park must be nervous too.”

The 'crying incident' had caught the attention of many fans and subsequently the two actors have acquired a new nickname: the 'crybaby brothers'.

While Song Joong Ki just finished shooting for his upcoming film “Battleship Island” and is waiting to see what he will do next, Park Bo Gum is currently on a pan-Asia tour meeting his fans and has visited Hong Kong, Jakarta, and Taipei so far with plans to visit Tokyo, Bangkok, and Singapore next.
