Study finds that opinion of gay marriage and willingness to try sushi are highly correlated
An eye-opening graphic shows that a generation's disapproval of gay marriage and their unwillingness to try sushi are highly correlated. The graph has the generation categories 'Millennials,' 'Gen X,' 'Boomers,' and 'Greatest Generation,' and the nearly identical direction of the two lines representing their answers is very uncanny.
The older Baby Boomer and Greatest Generation age groups had the highest levels of disapproval for gay marriage and not wanting to sample sushi while both Millennials and Gen X tended to approve of both the most.
It's a striking graphic because the steady increase of support by each succeeding generation is almost totally identical. Looks like future generations will be even more likely to support gay marriage while eating some delicious sushi at the same time!
