Sung Hoon recently shot to the top of the DramaFever Weekly Top 10 with his web series Noble, My Love. If you became a new fan of this rising star and found yourself wishing you could see him in more roles, you're in luck! Sung Hoon just landed the second lead role in one of the most-anticipated dramas of the year, So Ji Sub and Shin Min Ah's upcoming series Oh My Venus. Henry Lau, Jo Eun Ji, and Jung Gyu Woon have also accepted roles in the series.

In Oh My Venus, So Ji Sub plays Kim Young Ho, a famous personal trainer to wealthy celebrities. Shin Min Ah plays an overworked lawyer who loses her former beauty and becomes his client.

Sung Hoon joins the cast as the second male lead, another personal trainer who has a bromance with So Ji Sub. Considering that Sung Hoon and So Ji Sub both used to be competitve swimmers in real life, I like the idea of giving them a fitness-based bromance! I also assume that "personal trainer" is mostly code for an excuse to give the kind of fan service that appeared allllllll over Noble, My Love...

Henry will play So Ji Sub's pleasant friend from America, and Jo Eun Ji will play Shin Min Ah's friend. Jung Gyu Woon takes the role of Shin Min Ah's ex boyfriend, which is a little disappointing, but not all that surprising considering how often Jung Gyu Woon gets stuck playing someone's nasty ex. Someday he'll get to be the nice character, right?
