Super Junior's Choi Siwon says his new Chinese drama series Billion Dollar Man is not the "Chinese Heirs" as rumored. On Feb. 10th, he made the announcement on his weibo account in Chinese saying that the project has been in planning for two years and it is not an adaptation of Heirs. Billion Dollar Man will have a different story from Heirs.

There has been a flurry of rumors and speculations about a Chinese adaptation of the popular K-drama Heirs as the filming is underway and fans have spotted Choi Siwon on location in Guangxi province.

A young Chinese actor, Yu Xiaotong, was also speculated to be playing a character similar to Kim Tan because of his 193-cm height and long legs like Lee Min Ho's.

Watch exes duke it out and fall back in love in the comedic medical drama Emergency Couple.
However, Chinese fans of Heirs have actually been pleading for there NOT to be a Chinese adaptation. The reason is that previous adaptations of other Korean dramas such as Autumn In My Heart and Temptation Of A Wife have not be successful. They really feared that Kim Tan and Heirs would be ruined in a bad adaptation. Therefore, Siwon's announcement is likely going to make Chinese fans quite relieved.
