The great Taj Mahal is getting a facelift! Turning more and more yellow each day with the pollution coming from nearby Arga, officials have decided it’s time to spruce up what “…is considered the finest example of Mughal art in India.”

The last time a similar treatment was done to the Taj Mahal was back in 2009. While that one took closer to 6 months to finish, this one will be done in one night as restorers will put on a mud that “…is said to be based on a traditional recipe which is used by Indian women to restore a natural glow to their faces,” and then immediately remove it. This wonderful masterpiece should be looking beautiful in no time.
