Thai children break world record for most elves gathered in one place
If Christmas were a competition, Thailand would definitely be in first place. A group of almost 1,800 Thai children recently gathered together in Bangkok to form the word "Siam," which is the former name of Thailand. The epic gathering officially broke the Guinness World Record for most Christmas elves in one place.
The adorable kids stood in place for five minutes dressed in classic elf garb, sporting red and green hats and hilarious pointy ears. The kids were between nine and fifteen years old and broke the previous record of 1,110 elves, held in Great Britain.
We should point out that a few kids were not counted as elves because they weren't sporting their funny ears. As you can see from the pictures, it looks like some of the kids were also bribed with candy, but hey, whatever it takes!
