Thailand's White Temple looks like a magical fairytale
The Wat Rong Khun temple in Thailand is a Buddhist shrine that looks like it belongs in every fairytale ever. Westerns call this magical palace the White Temple for its stunning snow-white features and structure.
The temple was designed in 1997 by artist Chalermchai Kositpipat, and the building looks straight out of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. The building's design is a heavy mix of majestic white adornments with dark mystical undertones represented by the shrine's anonymous raised hands and extended ominous bridges.
