Can you believe it’s been 10 years since Coffee Prince premiered? A lot has happened in a decade, but we still remember Yoon Eun Hye’s adorable boyish haircut and the sweet romance between her and Gong Yoo. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Coffee Prince, let’s see what its actors have been up to!

1. Gong Yoo

Gong Yoo carried on his Coffee Prince success in a number of dramas and films including Silenced, Big, and The Suspect.

Gong Yoo returned to the drama screen in late 2016 with Goblin after a few years’ absence. The star screenwriter Kim Eun Gook said it had taken her five years to persuade Gong Yoo to star in this drama.

At the first read-through of Goblin, Gong Yoo said he still reminisces about Coffee Prince even after a decade because it meant so much to him. He added that he wished to recreate the atmosphere of the Coffee Prince set on the Goblin set. Gong Yoo said at the read-through, “It’s already been 10 years. I’m not sure if you will believe me or not, but the drama would have meant as much to me whether or not it did well. Everyone in Coffee Prince wanted each other to do well. No one was selfish, and it was a set where we all had fun. That kind of atmosphere is hard to come by, and to have experienced it as an actor, I am very thankful.”

Since the Goblin finale earlier this year, Gong Yoo has been staying pretty on the down low, posing for commercials and chatting with CNN Talk Asia. The black-and-white photo above is his latest shoot for The Body Shop, where he’s been modeling for years.

2. Yoon Eun Hye

This energetic actress didn’t settle with the success of Coffee Prince but kept filming more, in the end contributing to more classic K-dramas and films like Take Care of the Young Lady, Lie To Me, Little Black Dress, I Miss You, and Marry Him If You Dare.

Be sure to check out his films Romantic Island with Lee Soo Kyung, Helpless with Kim Min Hee, and The Advocate with Kim Go Eun.

On Nov. 25, Lee Sun Gyun and actress Kim Hye Soo hosted the Blue Dragon Film Awards.
