Can you believe it’s been over a year since Hwarang: The Beginning premiered? A lot has happened in a year, but we still remember the sweet romance between Go Ah Ra and Park Seo Joon, the flower boy knight bromance between the male actors, the beautiful soundtrack, "Even If I Die, It's You" sung by BTS members Jin and Kim Tae Hyung (V), and all the martial arts awesomeness. Park Seo Joon


After Hwarang, Park Seo Joon starred in the popular drama, Fight My Way opposite Kim Ji Won. The lovely actress said her co-star "was really the best partner,” and that “his acting brought Go Dong Man’s character alive and h never frowned, even when filming the not-so-easy fight scenes. He’s the life of the party.” The actor was bagged a lead role in the hit movie, Midnight Runners with Kang Ha Neul and Park Ha Soon. The film was about two police officers in-training who investigate a kidnapping, but are thrown into an adventure that costs them more than a crazy night out.

Since then, the actor has been working on dramas like What's Wrong With Secretary Kim and was last seen in a cameo appearance in the So Ji Sub, SonYe Jin movie, Be With You that premiered on DramaFever a few weeks ago!

This lovely actress didn’t settle with the success of Hwarang but kept filming more, in the end contributing to more classic K-dramas like Black and the current hot favorite on DramaFever, Miss Hammurabi. The actress plays a passionate and fiery rookie judge who doesn't let anyone or anything get her down. Fans have loved her portrayal of a strong, feminist woman and her pairing opposite Kim Myung Soo (L) has been positively received. We can't wait to see this actress in more dramas and films in the coming years!

SHINee's Choi Min Ho returned to the small screen to play pretty boy Soo Ho in Hwarang and was much loved by fans all over the world. Nicknamed Flaming Charisma, the actor has appeared in many popular dramas like Because It's The First Time, Somehow 18, and To The Beautiful You.

Do Ji Han


The cute actor played the character of Banryu, who has been groomed since birth to be power hungry. The actor who was once a professional swimmer, gave up his passion to pursue acting. He said, “I was a swimmer when I was young, but stopped to pursue my dream of becoming an actor. My parents strongly opposed it, but I stuck to it and was able to fulfill my dream.” After Hwarang, he starred in Lovers in Bloom opposite Im Soo Hyang.

Kim Tae Hyung


Better known as his stage name V from BTS, the actor/singer portrayed the youngest member of the elite group of men, Hansung, grandson of Seok Hyunjae. He also collaborated with fellow BTS member Jin for the Hwarang's soundtrack entitled "Even If I Die, It's You". The actor then released the self-produced song "4 O'Clock" which features fellow BTS member RM, to celebrate BTS’ fourth anniversary.
