As hard as it is to believe, 2015 is almost over, with just a few weeks left before we enter 2016. Besides looking forward to what lies ahead, the end of the year is always a good time to look back and assess and appreciate all that's happened, and for Japanese anime fans, that can take the form of taking part in a survey and voting for which network television anime series they enjoyed the most. Check to see if your favorite show made the annual year-end list!

"Goo Ranking" is Japan's premier ranking website, constantly conducting polls and surveys on any genre and listing the results online. Just a few days ago, they announced the Best Anime of 2015 list, as voted by 500 young Japanese anime fans in their 20s and 30s. The only criteria for this ranking is that the anime must be a series shown on network television. Well, longevity must mean something, because the 1st place winner has been on the air for an astounding almost 45 years.

Without further ado, here are the top 10 anime of 2015.
