These geographically themed bento boxes are beyond adorable
If Maiko Takahashi made your lunch every day, you would be the most popular kid in school. For a while, the incredibly creative mom has been making her 4-year-old daughter and 6-year-old son magical bento boxes featuring cartoon characters or holiday themes.
But her most recent geography-themed bento boxes are the stuff of pure mastery. Each box meticulously covers the 47 prefectures in Japan and often include notable landmarks from the regions. What's even more impressive is that the Tokyo-based mom made it so you can eat those famous landmarks.
The photos of her genius meals look way too good to eat, but we're just glad that she was able to document them before her children ate them up. The pictures below the geography-themed boxes show her other bento box creations, with the Santa Claus box being one of the cutest things you'll ever see.
