These new life-size Frozen action figures will cost you a fortune
For what is sure to be one of the most expensive asking prices ever for action figures, a Taiwanese toy company just announced the release of their life-size Frozen characters Anna, Elsa and Olaf. As tall as the characters are in "real life," eager fans can now pre-order these realistic models, as long as they have ridiculous amounts of money to spend.
Yes, these action figures are life-size, whatever that means when talking about animated characters! Beast Kingdom, a toy company in Taiwan, knows how tall Anna, Elsa and even Olaf really are, because they just created models of all of them at their actual height and weight. Anna is 165 centimeters tall (5 feet 5) and weighs 40 kilograms (only 88 pounds). Elsa is a bit taller, standing 170 centimeters, or about 5 feet 7 inches, but weighs the same as Anna, a measly 40 kilograms. They're way too skinny! And Olaf is only 90 centimeters tall (2 feet 11), but almost weighs as much as the two girls at 30 kilograms (66 pounds). What stands out about these figures is not how skinny the sisters are, or the attention to detail they gave while designing their costumes; the asking price for them is what's the most unbelievable!
Anna costs around 8,870 US dollars, as does her sister Elsa. Olaf comes cheap, at only 5,250 dollars. Now, that's a lot of money to be paying for some action figures, but there are a lot of rich folks out there, who also happen to be fans of Frozen and collectors of action figures. There will definitely be some demand for these figures, no doubt.
Anna, Elsa and Olaf will be ready for worldwide shipment in September.
