It's never really been a bad time to be a Disney princess, unless you count banishing yourself to a frozen ice palace (sorry Elsa). But I would argue that right now is the best time to be a Disney leading lady, especially when you consider that netizens just can't seem to get enough of anything Disney-related.

We love thinking about Disney princesses in new ways, and apparently so does Loryn Brantz. The Buzzfeed illustrator must have been a little fed up with how the female protagonists always seemed to have the perfect hair, so she decided to give it a more realistic look.

The updated images show Disney queens like Elsa, Ariel, Belle, and Cinderella with hair that would actually be more honest to the situation. Don't worry — the characters all still look great, only now their hair has more human qualities like frizziness and bed head.

The first images of the characters below are the original screenshots of the princesses, and the second is the same scene but with more realistic hair.
