Hearing the Super Mario Bros. theme sure takes you back, but one skillful musician showed the world what the video game would sound like way back in 1100 BC!
In a video trending now in Japan, a sheng player recreates the famous 80's theme with perfect fidelity, all on an instrument that is 3,000 years old. The sheng originated in China, and is basically a series of bamboo flutes that resembles a handheld pipe organ.
