We always knew that Tiger Woods could hit a golf ball really far, but we never guessed he could hit it between two continents. The superstar golfer did just that on Tuesday when he hit a ball across Istanbul's Bosphorus Bridge, which joins Europe to Asia.

Tiger Woods was participating in the event as part of a promotion for the upcoming Turkish Airlines Open tournament. The golfer got paid 2.4 million dollars to play in Turkey, so he made sure to hit a perfect drive. And from the video below, it looks like he nailed it!

The bridge was shut down from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. for the historic drive, much to the chagrin of local commuters, but it made for some incredible shots.

It's like a driving range made of pavement.
