The popular Tim Burton exhibition that originated in 2009 at New York's Museum of Modern Art is heading to South Korea. Paris was supposed to be the last stop for the touring exhibition but Burton, director of Edward Scissorhands, Batman, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Alice in Wonderland, Frankenweenie and many other films, recently confirmed to a Times reporter that the show would indeed open in South Korea this month. "Tim Burton" is scheduled to open at the Seoul Museum of Art on December 12th and will run through April 14th. It marks the first time the exhibition has traveled to Asia. The exhibition features several hundred objects created by Burton and his collaborators. It also includes drawings that the he made as a child growing up in Burbank, and later as a student at the California Institute of the Arts. It also features sets, costumes and other material from his feature films. The exhibition will be co-hosted by Hyundaicard Co., Ltd., MoMA and the Seoul Museum of Art. I'm curious to see which Korean celebrities will attend the opening of the exhibition. Who do you expect to see in attendance? (Source: www.latimes.com)
