However, as one might guess, achieving and maintaining this standard of accepted 'beauty' comes at a price. Just what lengths do Korean stars go to in order to keep thin for the cameras? During a segment on Follow Me Season 5, style and beauty analysts revealed some extreme dieting routines of Park Shin Hye, Bae Suzy, IU, and Ailee.
Breakfast - 1 cucumber, 1 glass of fat-free milk
Lunch - half bowl of rice, 2 cabbage leaves
Dinner - 1 cucumber, 2 cabbage leaves
Daily - 1 sweet potato, small serving of chicken breasts, 1 glass of milk
Daily - 1 apple, 2 sweet potatoes, 1 protein packed drink
Daily - 1 banana, small serving of chicken breasts, 1 cup of broccoli, 1 cup of paprika and vegetables
On top of their strict dieting routine they also go through rigorous work-outs!
The hosts for Follow Me Season 5 stressed how these diets could be extremely harmful to a persons body and could lead to hair loss, depression, and many other harmful health problems.
