The South Korean zombie action film, Train to Busan, has drawn more than 10 million viewers, becoming the highest box office hit for this year. The blockbuster, directed by Yeon Sang-ho and starring Gong Yoo, is the 18th movie (including foreign films) to pass the 10 million mark in South Korea.

The zombie film depicts a group of people trying to survive a mysterious virus by boarding an express train bound for Busan. The film sold the most tickets for any Korean film before its opening, the popularity of the film got a boost from the reviews received at the premiere in this year's Cannes Film Festival.

This is Yeon Sang-ho's first live action movie and Gong Yoo's first time hitting the 10 million mark in his 15 years of acting. Congratulations to all who worked on the film! Have you seen the movie yet? What did you think?
