Suzy is the first Korean actress to be immortalized as a Madame Tussauds doll
Suzy's life-size wax doll will be on exhibit in Hong Kong Madame Tussauds. She is the first Korean female celebrity to have her wax doll made by Madame Tussauds. Yes, go girl power!
“I felt honored to receive invitation from Madame Tussauds as the first Korean female artist,” Suzy shared via agency. “The wax doll creation process was a unique experience.”
The team of experts from England visited her to create the doll. Measuring her sizes alone took 7 hours, which suggests the complexity and thoroughness behind the work. Early August, Suzy will celebrate the exhibition of her wax doll, which will be on view at the K-wave zone of Madame Tussauds in Hong Kong.
Korean actors who've been made into a Madame Tussauds wax doll are Kim Soo Hyun, Lee Jong Seok, Choi Si Won, Bae Yong Joon, and 2PM's Nichkhun.
