UPDATE: New episodes of Maids officially delayed until end of January due to tragic fire
It has been stated by representatives of the JTBC Korean drama Maids that filming will be delayed until the end of January after a deadly fire destroyed their set and claimed the life of a screen writer on December 13th.
The cause of the fire, which burned the entire set and killed a 35-year-old female screen writer, is still under investigation.
Drama House, the production company of Maids, released a letter of apology giving more details on the accident, which you can read here.
The cast and crew of Maids will take a month to mourn the loss of their fellow crew member and to rebuild the set before resuming production at the end of January.
We express our condolences to the victim's family and friends and to the cast and crew as they mourn their loss.
