Watch American teens react to J-pop music videos for the first time
The always entertaining YouTube series Teens React, shows a group of young men and women reacting to various elements of popular culture like video games and movie trailers. This week, the series posted a hilarious episode that features the teens reacting to three different J-pop music videos from the groups Perfume, Exile, and AKB48. At first, the teens have no idea that they're watching Perfume's "Laser Beam," Exile's "New Horizon" and AKB48's "Heavy Rotation."
And some of the teens are totally taken aback by the J-pop clips, but a few of the teens seem to really enjoy the colorful and dance-heavy videos. There are definitely a couple of times when the teens react in hilarious shock, but overall it's a really interesting insight into how American teens view another culture.
