Some commercials use catchy songs or colorful characters to grab your attention. But a recent viral commercial, sponsored by Japanese wireless carrier NTT Docomo uses what can only be classified as a shrimp cannon.

The commercial cleverly compares the new NTT Docomo wireless speed to the bullet-like speed of the shrimp cannon. The quick clip shows two women preparing to make fried shrimp in a traditional manner.

But instead of frying it, they load up a cannon and shoot the shrimp through a series of preparation stations until it's cooked to perfection. It's a totally genius marketing idea that has clearly paid off as the commercial almost has six million views.
