With the fantastic ratings for Answer Me 1988, actor Park Bo Gum's star is continuing to rise. After memorable turns in Tomorrow's Cantabile and I Remember You and now his heartbreaking role as the shy baduk genius Taek, the actor is proving that he's one to watch, and now a video is circulating online that shows how the young star got his start.

The video (which has been around for a while but recently resurfaced) shows Park Bo Gum singing and playing the piano to 2AM's "The Song." In an interview with Grazia, Park explained, "I had always loved singing and dancing in front of people, and I had never thought of acting as a career option. I had always wanted to be a singer, so I sent a video of myself singing and playing the piano to several large managing agencies." Check out the video below:

It's no surprise that he gained attention with that sweet voice! After receiving offers from several agencies, Park Bo Gum decided to go with SidusHQ, who contacted him first. It wasn't until a staff member recommended acting that he decided to try acting instead of singing. Thank goodness for that staff member, or we might not know about his fantastic acting skills! Park Bo Gum's debut acting role was in the 2011 movie Blind.
