Watch what would happen if The Shining took place in IKEA
When you think of IKEA, you probably don't think of Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece film The Shining. But a Halloween ad for IKEA Singapore used the store to stage a perfect recreation of the movie, so much so that by the time the short clip is over, you forget it's taking place in a furniture retailer.
The clip shows a little boy riding a tricycle through the darkened store, and on his journey he passes several haunted and spooky-looking scenes. The video culminates with the boy riding into creepy twins who are dressed just like the movie.
We can't spoil the ending for you, but we can say that it's a really fun take on a very scary movie and a great way to advertise late-night hours at the massive furniture store.
