Goblin has entered the Top 10, but how high did it jump? We also have a new name for this weekly column. Have you noticed? Is your favorite drama among the Top 10 list of our most popular Korean and other Asian dramas? Let's find out.

We have changed this column's name from "Weekly Top 10 K-dramas" to "Weekly Top 10 Asian Dramas"! When I first started writing about the Top 10 three years ago, Korean dramas reigned supreme and very few Chinese dramas reached the coveted rankings. Now, in addition to our fabulous K-dramas, more viewers are also falling in love with Chinese-language dramas. A prime example is The Princess Weiyoung, a smash hit from China that has become the top leader in our recent rankings. Who knows, we may even offer dramas from other Asian countries some day. Therefore, we have renamed the column starting this week.

Cheers again to The Princess Weiyoung for keeping her crown this week. The addicting historical drama, starring Tiffany Tang and Luo Jin, got a special jolt when the leading couple admitted their real-life romance in a very special way, right before the drama ended its run in China. If you already know the ending, please kindly refrain from posting spoilers.

I knew, you knew, and everyone else knew that Goblin: The Lonely and Great God couldn't stay outside of the Top 10 for long. The stunning drama has leaped to #2. Watch out, Princess Weiyoung! Fans can't get enough of Gong Yoo's Goblin, Lee Dong Wook's Grim Reaper, and the Goblin's bride-to-be played by the delightful Kim Go Eun. The drama is also a feast of mesmerizing colors and poetic imagery to enjoy. No wonder it is already more popular than Descendants of the Sun.

Running Man picks up #3, with One Percent of Something in #4, and Moonlight Drawn by Clouds in #5.

Doctor Romantic continues to impress viewers with its memorable characters in a hospital that gets the most intriguing cases in the ER. No sooner than young doctors Seo Hyun Jin and Yoo Yun Suk confirm their feelings for each other, they are tested on their skills and convictions. The "bad guy" in the big hospital also continues to manipulate what happens in the country hospital. This intriguing drama, at #7, is actually a top hit in South Korea.

I thought Love O2O was going to drop off, but it has risen again to #9. Fans who have a date with the gorgeous Yang Yang in the midnight garden of flowers must be enjoying the romcom again and again.

The K2Jealousy Incarnate, and Scarlet Heart: Ryeo are holding strong at #6, #8, and #10, respectively.

New Drama News

After the happy ending in When a Snail Falls in Love, China's hottest leading man Wang Kai comes back with a romantic role where he'll woo Chen Qiao-En (aka Joe Chen) from the original Fated to Love You in the new drama Stay With Me. Or, maybe it's the other way around where she will woo him! He really supports her in real life too!

The fun romantic comedy Shopping King Louis, starring Seo In Guk and Nam Ji Hyun, will also be available to binge watch this Thursday!
