An infographic designed by Jack Hagley, a London-based freelance designer, puts into perspective the status of the world's 7 billion people by breaking it down to only 100. This fascinating world portrait allows us to grasp such interesting concepts as the status of the world's education, technology access, and poverty levels.

The infographic is based on statistics from the 100 People: A World Portrait project, which represents what the world would look like if there were only 100 people. Of the image, Hagley says, "I remember seeing this list of information when I was a kid. It was an email from my Nanny that my mum had pinned to the kitchen pin-board. I always wanted to do something with it, here is my attempt."

See how one of the most powerful women in history claimed her throne in Isabel.
