The Moon that Embraces the Sun, a romantic historical series, became a huge success and was awarded "Best Drama of the Year" for 2012. The show not only propelled Kim Soo Hyun to Hallyu star status, but it also gave attention to some very young actors whose future would continue to shine as brightly as the stars in the sky. He played the 15-year-old crown prince who wanted to marry for love but was struck by a tragic loss of his beloved. His performance was so touching that the audience almost didn't want to see him get replaced by Kim Soo Hyun.
Yeo Jin Goo has continued to act in dramas and films. In a twist of casting fate for the suspenseful drama I Miss You, he was paired with Kim So Hyun, who played the girl who couldn't get his love in The Moon that Embraces the Sun. He also played young Ji Chang Wook in Warrior Baek Dong Soo. At 17 years of age now, Yeo Jing Goo is about to play his first leading-man role in the fantasy romance drama Orange Marmalade. He also recently completed a movie, Shoot Me in the Heart.
Kim played the beautiful girl who was also an intellectual match to the crown prince. They loved each other but were cruelly separated by fateful tragedy.

Kim So Hyun has continued to take on great jobs such as the young Yoon Eun Hye in I Miss You, young Lee Bo Young in I Hear Your Voice, young Oh Yun Soo in Triangle, and as a member of the ensemble cast in Suspicious Housekeeper. The 15-year-old elegant young lady just graduated from middle school., and she is currently one of the MCs for MBC's Music Core program.
Lee played the older brother, but due to his birth by a concubine, he could not become crown prince and seemed destined to be a lonely outcast with an unrequited love deep inside his heart.
The cute and talented 21-year-old actor once considered changing his name because of its similarity to the other Lee Min Ho, but his father encouraged him to become outstanding on his own and not worry about changing his name. Lee Min Ho has successfully transitioned to adult roles and played in numerous dramas, such as a hilarious turn in Rooftop Prince and a reporter in Prime Minister and I. He also got to be crown prince in Sword and Flower. He starred in the movie School of Youth and web drama, Teleport Lover, in 2014. His newest movie, Time Renegade, is to be released in 2015.
